The basics
What ages is Streaks for?
Kids aged 5 to 14. You pick goals that fit each child, and kids can suggest their own goals and rewards for you to approve. Kids sign in with their avatar and a 4-digit PIN, so they never need an email address.
Which devices does it work on?
Tablets, phones and the web. One household works across every device, so your kids can check off on the family tablet while you approve from your phone. The App Store and Google Play versions are coming soon; the web app works today at app.kidstreaks.com.
What kind of goals work best?
Things a child can clearly do or not do: "Backpack packed by 8:00", "Homework started before dinner", "Teeth brushed". Streaks steers you away from scoring feelings or attitude, and toward effort rather than results, so goals stay fair and in your child's control.
Streaks and missed days
What's the difference between strict and forgiving?
It's your call, and you set it separately for each child.
Embers are earned, never bought. Not with money, points or chores.
What happens on a missed day?
Nothing is taken away. A hard day earns nothing, and it never costs points. Even on strict, your child's personal best is kept forever, every tier badge they've reached stays theirs, and the next few days are a gentle Warm Start instead of a cold restart. The flame turns to glowing embers, never a red X.
Going camping or visiting family? Mark it as a pause day and the flame simply waits.
How does it work with siblings?
Each child has their own flame and goals sized to their age, and a full day's goals earns about the same marshmallows whatever their age. One child's missed day is never shown to a sibling. The optional sibling board shows weekly highlights, not rankings, and Family Fire gives everyone one goal to build together.
Privacy, cost and your account
What data do you keep about my kids?
Only what you enter: a first name, a preset avatar (no photo uploads), a PIN we store only as a one-way hash, and an optional birthdate. Children never sign up and never give us an email. We don't collect location, contacts, photos or advertising IDs, and we never sell your data or use it for ads. [CONFIRM after legal review]

Whatever we land on, you will never be able to buy streak protection, points or any advantage for your child inside the app.
How do I delete our account?
A parent deletes their own account from Settings in the app. If you're the only parent, that deletes the whole household with it: your children's profiles, goals and history. If another parent remains, the household stays with them. You can download your family's data first. The delete your account page has the steps and what's removed.
