Short description

Parents set the goals. Kids check them off on their own tablet and keep a flame growing, day after day. Streaks is built on child psychology rather than engagement tricks: no point deductions, no buying streak protection, and no shaming. The parent's part takes about thirty seconds a night.

Long description

Streaks gives every child one flame. It grows each day they finish the goals a parent has set, and it climbs a fifteen-tier ladder from a first Spark to the Eternal Flame at day 365. Kids check off their own goals; parents see the whole family on one screen, approve what needs approving, and get a nudge at milestones to praise how their child did it.

The app draws hard lines that most streak apps don't. A hard day earns nothing, but it never costs anything. Streak protection can't be bought with money, points or chores. One child's missed day is never shown to a sibling. Parents choose per child between a classic strict streak and a forgiving one, and goals "graduate" to a trophy shelf once they become habits, because a family needing the app less is the goal.

Optional extras include a rewards store parents fill themselves, Family Fire (a cooperative family goal), badges, and a sibling board that shows highlights, never rankings. Streaks works on tablets, phones and the web, with the App Store and Google Play versions coming soon.
