Signing in

My child forgot their PIN

A parent can set a new one. Sign in as a parent, open Settings, choose your child under Streak, profile & PIN, and set a new 4-digit PIN. Kids can't change their own PIN.

I forgot my password

On the parent sign-in screen, choose Forgot your password? and we'll email you a reset link. The link works for one hour. Resetting your password also ends the saved family sign-in on every device in the household, so you'll sign the family tablet back in afterwards.

How do I add a second parent?

Open Settings, then Parents, and invite your co-parent by email. They get their own sign-in to the same household. An invite that isn't accepted expires after 7 days; you can send a new one any time.

Setting up

Putting Streaks on a family tablet

Open app.kidstreaks.com in the tablet's browser, sign in as a parent, and add it to the home screen so it opens like an app. Kid Mode keeps the tablet on the kids' screens; leaving Kid Mode needs the parent password. The App Store and Google Play versions are coming soon.

A goal didn't get checked off, but it was done

Kids can check off their own goals until their flame bedtime. After that, a parent can still mark the day's goals until midnight, and can fix the previous day until 9:00 the next morning.

We're going away for a few days

Mark the days as Pause Days, in advance or afterwards. The flame holds on a Pause Day, in strict mode too. See how missed days work.

Your data and account

Downloading your family's data

Open Settings, then Delete account, and choose Download my data. You get a complete copy of what we hold about your household. Downloading doesn't delete anything.

Deleting your account

A parent can delete their own account in the app. The delete your account page explains the steps and what gets removed, including what happens when you're the last parent in the household.
